S2 E3 Running 5k a Day with Pablo Miller
Show Notes

Pablo Miller is running 5 kilometres a day, every day for a year. What started out as a means to keep fit while gyms shut down due to covid restrictions turned into a running streak. At the start Pablo wanted to just see how things went running every day for a month until things went back to normal, but soon realised 'normal' won't be back for a while. As time went by he decided to push the running streak out to a year and maybe beyond.

The streak is part of something much bigger for Pablo as he was already on a new path of fitness and lifestyle change in aid to support his wife and young daughter. As a radio presenter and council member we talk about perceptions of happiness and the rewards that come with creating a simpler life.

Pablo shares a great outlook on things and a positivity that I've seen in others that have made changes in their lives for the better. There seems to be a common thread with getting on top of your health and wellbeing to then build a better lifestyle, with lessons you can only learn by walking those  steps yourself.

It's nice to hear some of the positives that are happening on the back of what are some incredibly difficult times for a majority of the world. Now more than ever is important to make yourself a priority to help in the current situation and steady your course for the future.
