Inner Expeditions
Conversations about mindset, health and adventure. Delving a bit deeper with special guests to help us re-connect with ourselves and the outdoors. We'll also try and discover alternative methods to aid in our wellbeing. The show aligns with my own experiences after I started running to lose weight and resulted in me changing careers to simplify my life and overcome severe anxiety. Since then I've discovered that all round health is more than just physical fitness. I'll share with you stories and experiences with selected guests to inspire and motivate you to step outside your boundaries and try something new.

S1 E2 A Sea of Possibilities with Andre Rerekura
What would it mean for you to do what you love for a job? In this episode I talk to freelance ocean videographer Andre Rerekura about what started his love for the ocean and how he is making a career out of his what he loves doing. It can be a daunting task to create your own path but this never seemed to be an option for Andre who set out to be on the ocean in a few different roles before becoming a videographer. Things came to life couple of mates were spending time on the ocean filming and sharing discoveries on their social media page Terra Australis about life under the sea. As things progressed he would be approached about contract filming and commission work for stations like the BBC and National Geographic. Andre now works with his partner, Nush Freedman who is as comfortable and natural in the water as he is. As we chat further we discuss what keeps him going as far as health, fitness and a focus on how to minimise our carbon footprint so we can keep enjoying the outdoors for many years to come. If you wish to see some of Andre's work please check him out on Instagram @andrererekuracrative, his page with Nush @questblue and with the guys @terra_australis.
Happy listening everyone.
